The wedding ceremony will take place at the church of Värmdö (Värmdö Kyrka). It will begin at 15:00 (3:00pm) but come a bit earlier to say hello to the other guests and save your seat!

To get to the church you can drive to the adress above, there is plenty of parking. If you don't want to take the car it is possible to get there by bus. Take bus number 437 from Slussen, it will take you about 45 minutes, the stop is simply called Värmdö Kyrka. Other busses that stop there are number 438, 439 and 463. It is also possible to take an Uber or a Taxi from Central Stockholm to the church, the cost for an UberX should be around 500 SEK. If you want to learn more about taking public transportation or a Taxi in Stockholm please go to the page called Stockholm Info. It might be hard to find an Uber or Taxi to take you from one part of Värmdö to another. So if you're staying at Siggesta for example, see Accommodation, we would recommend that you take the buss.
Our photographer Michaela will be with us to capture this special moment so please put away your phones and/or cameras. Instead sit back, relax and enjoy the ceremony with us. The pictures will be available to you after the wedding. However, after the ceremony is over, the more photos you take the happier we get, as long as you promise to share them all with us.
The reception will be held at Fredriksborg Hotell, after the ceremony we will (hopefully if weather allows) gather in the beautiful outside accommodations for some mingling before the dinner starts at around 18:30 (6:30pm). The dinner will be served in a tent.

To get from the church to Fredriksborg you can again drive to the adress above, there is plenty of parking space. If you don't want to take the car you could take buss 439 and get off at the stop called Stenslätten but after that you will have to walk around 1km or 0,6 mils on a gravel road, learn more about taking public transportation or a Taxi in Stockholm on the page Stockholm Info. Like mentioned earlier it might be hard to find an Uber or Taxi on Värmdö. If you find yourself in need of transportation from the church to the reception please let us know and we can of course help you connect with other guests to get you a ride.
Do you want to make a speech, organize a game, play and/or sing a song? Let the Toastmasters know! We are open to all suggestions, maybe you want to make a movie, a slide show or perform a play? Go for it!
We are lucky enough to have friends and family from different parts of the world who will travel to Värmdö to celebrate with us. Most of our guests speak and understand English so we would be very happy if you made your contribution to the entertainment in English so everyone can enjoy it. If you're not comfortable with that just make sure that the Bride and Groom understand you, we are after all the most important people of the day.
We will start the reception with some time for you guests to mingle and have a drink and some hor d'oeuvres. This is also the time for the traditional first toast for the couple.
For dinner we will enjoy some nice food and drinks and a number of toasts. If you want to speak/perform but forgot to say so in the RSVP, please contact the toastmasters.
After dinner the music will be playing and we invite everyone to dance - you can do it! Did you forget to request a song in the RSVP? Send us an email instead!
If you are like the groom and dancing is not your thing, grab some friends, old or new, and play a game instead. But don't forget to still request a song.
Wine, beer and non-alcoholic drink options will be served during dinner. Two drink tickets will be provided for each person to use in the bar after dinner.*
When it starts getting late and we can feel the energy levels dropping it is time to bring out the sweets. Chocolate anyone?
Sadly all good things come to an end... If you would like to cut down on your travel so you can party longer, spend the night at Värmdö. You can find suggestions for accommodations on the page called Accommodation.
The morning after the Bride and Groom will be having brunch at Fredriksborg and all the guest who want to are welcome to join us, the more the merrier. If you plan on attending please send us an email and let us know. The cost of the Brunch is 235sek per person.
*For those of you who are not used to the "drink ticket system" this is how it works: each person will be provided with two tickets that you can exchange for a drink in the bar, wine, beer or non-alcoholic options. If you have had all the drinks you want for the night but still have tickets left, find someone who is still thirsty and make a new best friend by offer them one of your tickets! If you're out of tickets and still thirsty you have the option to buy a drink in the bar.
